Operation of System

  • To Start: Press lock 3 times on the OEM key FOB
  • To Stop: Press lock 3 times on the OEM Key FOB
  • Parking Lights will illuminate during remote start mode
  • Run time is 15 minutes
  • All doors, hood and hatch/trunk must be closed
  • The vehicle will shut off when the door is opened. You simply can get in, restart the vehicle and go.

 

Special Notes

  • Range is the same as your OEM Key FOB
  • Vehicle WILL shut off when a door is opened - this is a Toyota/Lexus feature that can not be disabled
  • No Stage 2 Programming required

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This is the second remote starter from 12volt. Installing was incredibly easy. Honestly couldn't think of anything that could improve this product.

GREAT Remote Starter

This remote starter was one of the most easiest to install. This is my 3rd remote starter I have purchased from 12volt Solutions. They have all been relatively simple, but this was by far the easiest. All plug and play. No splicing of wires and extra steps. There were two screws on the dash panel and three on the steering column. Everything else was a pry tool and plug and play. The App Kit is great and worth the extra cost. I can start my car anywhere. I like the fact that I can start it from the airport and by the time I get my bags and to the car, it is either cooled or heated and ready to go. I recommend using these guys for all your vehicles that do not have a remote starter. Two friends of mine were so impressed, they are purchasing remote starters for their vehicles!

Super easy on this vehicle

Very simple install on this vehicle.
2 phillips screws on pedal cover
Left wood trim removed to access 1 phillips/ right side under brake relase cover 1 10mm bolt
Pry middle knee bolster assembly out. Disconnect 4 electrical clips.
1 Phillips under steering column, turn steering wheel 90 degrees both ways to reveal 2 Philips. Pry cover off.
Bcm located left side of dash. Bottom right 2 connectors and one more at column under signal arm.
Obd connector on pedal cover panel.
