Operation of System

  • To Start: Press lock 3 times on the OEM key FOB
  • To Stop: Press lock 3 times on the OEM Key FOB
  • Parking Lights will illuminate during remote start mode (if optional wire is connected)
  • Run time is 15 minutes
  • All doors, hood and hatch/trunk must be closed
  • The vehicle will NOT shut off when the door is opened. You can get in and go without having to restart your vehicle.

    Returns Policy

    You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

    You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

    The owner of 12volt Solutions and I have some mutual friends and I was contacted to see if I would be willing to lend my car to the company in order for them to develop a remote start kit for the NC1. I told them I would think about it. 2 weeks later, I called them to tell them I would be okay with them using my car. To my surprise, the owner of 12volt had bought one a week after our initial conversation. I went to the shop to check it out and meet the crew. They already had the remote start working from the OEM key FOB, and their app. The owner even showed me he could turn the driver and passenger seat heaters on from the app! This is just what the NSX has been missing! So fast forward 2 weeks... I brought my car in to get the remote start installed. This is the awesome part... the owner let me hang out back in the shop while he did the install.... so I thought. Turns out, he had other plans. He pulled my car in, and said "do you want to do the install? I'll coach you through it". Let me tell you guys.. this is the EASIEST mod that I've ever done to any of my cars.. PERIOD!

    The installation process is super simple. The NSX does require a 2 step programming and they had to plug the module back into the computer to complete programming.
