Simplest remote start I've ever installed. Once programmed and finished it works great too. Opted for the app module and it is well worth it. Nice knowing if we ever lock our 1 key in the car we can unlock it with the app. Wife works in the middle of a hospital and she can start her car without leaving her desk.

Wow. It really is a plug & play remote starter.

My W204 does NOT have push to start (it uses a standard key) so I did not have to connect to the CAN junction. I loosened the bottom of the speedometer trim and was able to release the steering column skirt easily. I was able to access the connector on the back of the ignition with the ignition switch in place - I had the tool, but did not need to use it since the switch was not removed. Popped off the connector with a pick, plugged it into the T on the harness & reconnected to the ignition switch. Basically done. I connected the module and tested the functionality (success) before disconnecting the module, routing the wire down behind the panel under the dash, pulled the cover (3x T20), mounted the module and reconnected the 3 harnesses to the module and re-attached the cover. It took 25 minutes from start to finish. The app module for cellular connectivity is amazing. I haven't been able to figure out how to release the trunk or activate the heated seats from the app yet, but once that is done my wife will be very happy. I'm thrilled that I didn't have to waste half a day ripping apart the cars wiring harnesses and tons of plastic trim to access and tap into wires just to be faced with tons of troubleshooting.
